How We Met

Gregg and I (Abigail) met at the old Mardi Gras Multi Club in R.I. I was there for a bachelorette party and he was there with his friends celebrating a birthday. Gregg hadn’t gone out with this friend group in a while and he almost didn’t go at all! But he always said that something dragged him out of the house that night. I was one of the only single girls in the group and my friends spotted Gregg across the bar and said “Abby! He’s really cute! We are going to go see if he is single!” Sure enough, he was! We exchanged phone numbers that night but didn’t end up officially getting together as a couple for about 6 months after that night! It’s been love and laughter ever since we have been together. Who would’ve known that a night out with my girlfriends would have brought me the love of my life!

Our Proposal Story

A friend of ours is a new photographer (check her out, Kirsten Capron Photography) and asked us to do a photo session with our pup to help build up her portfolio. Gregg came up with the idea of doing sign language in some of the photos because it’s something that we have both been working on learning! He had words written on paper that he was signing tacked to a tree so the pictures would make sense. After about eight words, the last word stated “marry?” And he then got down on one knee and proposed. It was so beautiful and perfect! I cry every time I look at the pictures from that day! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
