The Meet Cute: Daniel met Katelyn during his senior year of high school when a mutual friend set them up as prom dates. The pair decided to go on a date before their first prom, and sparks flew that night.
The Engagement: The couple had gone out to dinner to celebrate their nine-year anniversary, when they decided to catch the sunset at Camp Cronin. What Katelyn did not know is that their families were hiding around the corner behind bushes waiting for the big surprise. As they walked down the beach, a display of candles, rose petals and the couple’s initials met Katelyn’s eyes. She turned to Dan, but he was already down on one knee with a ring in his hands.
