From college friends to life partners, Kaleigh and Nichola’s love story comes full circle at Block Island’s lighthouse.

The Meet Cute: Kaleigh and Nicholas first met in college, where a nine-year friendship blossomed. After the pandemic, they finally gave dating a chance, and as the saying goes, the rest is now history!
The Engagement: With a shared background in Broadway technical theater, the couple found themselves working at the annual music festival hosted by ConserFest, a non-profit organization in Block Island, to support land conservation and other environmental causes. Kaleigh was part of the leadership team, while Nicholas, who runs his own video/audio company, handled the festival’s sound. Later that evening, the leadership team gathered for a photo at the top of the lighthouse. Following the group photo, Nicholas asked Kaleigh to hike back to the lighthouse. Once they got to the top, he dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
