Tell us how you met:

Anthony and I met in September 2007 while working at a finance firm in Providence, RI. Juggling both school and a career, we decided to take it slow. We spent a few months playing cat and mouse, but as time went on we naturally became more serious. We ineffectively tried to keep our office romance a secret but eventually it became pretty obvious. We would spend hours just walking around downtown Providence in the middle of winter just to remain in each other’s company.

Anthony and I planned a trip to visit family in Europe for July of 2015. Our amazing trip started in London taking in the sights as well as seeing my favorite artist, Ed Sheeran, play at Wimbledon. A few days later we boarded a train to Amsterdam, eating the best Belgium chocolate along the way. After Amsterdam, we headed to one of my dream destinations, Paris, the beautiful City of Lights. We rented a gorgeous flat overlooking the Eiffel Tower. It was Bastille Day and we had the most amazing view of the fireworks. As a surprise, I hired a wonderful photographer as I knew these moments were ones that I wanted captured forever.

A few days later the photographer suggested that we meet her at 4:30 am at the Eiffel Tower to capture some more shots at one of the most romantic places in the world. After those pictures, we took a cab to Pont de l’Archeveche, aka “Love Lock Bridge”. Anthony took out a lock that he had engraved and a moment later he dropped to his knee presenting me with a ring. I ecstatically shouted “Oui” as time stood still. We kissed and locked the lock onto the bridge and tossed the key into the Siene River. Happiest day of my life.
