Everything about this springtime affair, from the hydrangea blue, peach and cream palette to the intimate portrait session out on the docks at sunset, has us swooning — no wonder Sarah and Ryan say it was the wedding of their dreams.

How did you two meet?

We met about four years ago at a local attorneys’ softball team meeting at the beginning of the season.

How would you describe the theme of your wedding?

We wanted a simple, classic, fun wedding where the guests enjoyed the food, music and company.

Can you describe these moments you had just before the wedding?

I am very close with both of my parents and it was really great to have some one on one time with each of them. I cannot thank them enough for showing me what true love really is and for all their love and support while planning/preparing for our wedding.

What were you feeling as you were walking down the aisle?

I felt an overwhelming rush of emotion! I was nervous to see Ryan, but really soo excited to finally be living this moment and starting our life journey together.

What was your first dance song and is there any meaning behind it?

It was Sober by Little Big Town. We wanted a song that we both liked that wasn’t “traditional” — something hopefully not heard before.

Those bridesmaid shirts were so cute! Where did you get them from?

I found them on Etsy!  The shop is called BrideBikini.

The reception looked like a lot of fun! Did your guests enjoy the photo booth?

Yes! They loved the props and taking pictures. It was busy all night.

The driving range also looked like it was a hit (and made for an awesome photo backdrop)! Did this help you decide on your venue, Harbor Lights?

It was not exactly something we were “looking for”, but just an added bonus that we thought guests would enjoy!

What was some of you and Ryan’s favorite moments from this special day?

Some of our most favorite moments were taking our vows, being introduced as Mr & Mrs at the reception, our first dance and spending time catching up with all our friends and family.

Was it the wedding of your dreams?

The day was more than we could’ve imagined.
