Michael proposed to Breein in the City by the Sea with a romantic beachside setup, complete with champagne, candles and music.

The Meet Cute: Breein and Michael met almost thirty years ago when she and her high school best friend were driving and hit a curb in a not-so-safe area. Michael, a police officer, helped the two by driving them home. Fast forward to several years later, Breein and Michael met in the community after both their divorces.
The Proposal: A Rolls Royce limo ride through Newport with champagne transported the pair to a section of beach that was set up with a table, umbrella, candles, music and food. Moments later, Michael got down on his knee and proposed. “Our children were hiding and came running out to celebrate — what an absolute surprise!” Breein says. After commemorating the moment with some pictures, the celebration continued at a restaurant where even more family was waiting for their arrival.
