The Meet Cute: Despite growing up only ten minutes from each other, Maya and Matt did not cross paths until they met at a local bar in Westerly. Within minutes, they discovered they shared mutual friendships and immediately felt a connection that quickly became something more.
The Engagement: Matt had plans to propose during their family trip to Nantucket Beach. Unfortunately, the ring did not arrive until the day before they left. He expressed to his parents how he wished he could have done it earlier, but his mom surprised him with a spare ring to prevent this sort of emergency. On their final night, Matt took Maya to a private beach to catch the sunset and proposed to the love of his life.
