High school sweethearts take the next step while hunting for sea glass in Black Point.

The Meet Cute: Back when Sydney and Noah were in high school, she had a crush on him, but he just wanted to be friends. Nevertheless, they hung out and talked every day. Sydney went away for a week, and while she was gone, they admitted their feelings to each other. When she returned, Noah asked her to be his girlfriend in January 2017.
The Engagement: Fast forward to January of this year, the couple went to Black Point in Narragansett to hunt for sea glass with Noah’s sister and boyfriend. It was an ordinary day or so Sydney thought. As she’s hunting for colorful sea remnants, Noah tells her to look at the piece in his hands. She turns and is shocked to see him down on one knee. They had talked about getting engaged for over a year, but she did not know when it would happen. Needless to say, Noah surprised her when she least expected.
