The Meet Cute: After a successful swipe on Hinge, Aidan and Tori met while working in Washington, DC. The pair connected through similar experiences playing soccer, mutual love for seafood (specifically oysters!) and a combination of quirkiness they both found comfortably endearing. As their love grew, they quickly realized they had found forever in each other. When Tori started medical school at Brown University, they did long distance for a little over a year. Aidan frequently visited Providence, and he and Tory explored new spots to slurp some delicious oysters. In 2023, Aidan moved to Rhode Island and the rest is now history!
The Engagement: It was during Christmas in 2024 when Aidan proposed to Tori in Philadelphia, PA. Family time is highly valued for the couple, so it was important to be surrounded by loved ones. Aidan’s family traveled from Georgia and Florida to spend the holidays with Tori’s family. However, unbeknownst to Tori, everyone gathered for a special surprise.
After discreetly pulling her away from the group during brunch, Aidan asked the question in a private location in Old City. He then took her to celebrate with the whole family and surprised her once again for dinner with extended family and close friends in the city. Truly, a magical day from start to finish!
The couple will wed next spring at Elstowe Manor in Elkins Estate, PA, near Tori’s hometown. The venue has a similar design to the Gilded Age Newport Mansions along Ocean Drive. For their engagement photoshoot, the couple wanted to capture their time in Rhode Island and pay homage to the place that inspired most of the stylistic choices for their wedding — of course, oysters are a must!
